The Advocacy in Action: UN & Global Careers Cohort is a 6-week program designed for aspiring changemakers passionate about advocacy, human rights, and international engagement. This cohort provides participants with the tools, knowledge, and strategies to navigate the UN system, build impactful campaigns, and pursue meaningful careers in global advocacy. Through weekly sessions, participants will gain insights into the structure and mechanisms of the UN, explore real-world case studies, and learn how to effectively engage with international human rights and environmental frameworks. The program also focuses on foundational advocacy skills, including storytelling, coalition-building, and leveraging digital platforms to amplify your message. Led by Samia Shell, an experienced advocate with a background in international law and the United Nations, this cohort fosters a supportive environment to connect with like-minded peers, receive expert mentorship, and develop actionable plans for driving change in your community and beyond.
